Your shared coach transfer will collect you between 6 am and 7 am, ready for your journey to the stunning Tortuguero National Park. As you near your destination, the roads slowly begin to give way, and you’ll soon find yourself taking a shared motor-driven canoe transfer to your lodge. This unique experience is an adventure as you glide through the sparkling waterways, taking in the lush vegetation and wildlife surrounding you.
Once you arrive at your lodge, you’ll have time to freshen up and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you may want to join a small group for a guided jungle hike, where you’ll have the opportunity to discover the many mysteries and wonders of the forest. As you make your way towards Guapiles, you can take a moment to appreciate the stunning landscapes surrounding you. Once you arrive in Guapiles, your guide will take you to a delightful spot for lunch where you can savour some of the local cuisines. After lunch, your guide will assist you in collecting your rental car. You can look forward to getting behind the wheel and hitting the road as you complete the necessary formalities. Your next destination is Sarapiqui; the drive should take about an hour. Driving through the beautiful countryside, you can enjoy the stunning mountains and lush rainforest views, making this an unforgettable experience.
